Creative Arts Department Rules & Regulations
1
All entries, including baked goods and flowers, are to be entered between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Sunday, September 17, 2023. No entries will be accepted after the 5 pm. deadline. Do not leave items without checking them in. We do recommend that you preregister online at our website, northwestarkansasdistrictfair.com

All articles and products must be the work of the exhibitor and should not have been exhibited in previous years. Articles must have been completed within the previous year.

No exhibitor shall duplicate entries in any subclass or class within a department.

Unfinished or soiled articles will not be accepted.

Rules and regulations for the department apply to both adult and junior exhibitors.

ONLY AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL WILL BE ALLOWED IN BUILDING DURING JUDGING.

No premium will be awarded on articles not listed in this premium list.

Every precaution will be taken against loss or damage of any article or exhibit and in no case shall management or the fair board be liable for any loss or damage that may occur to such articles or for any accident that may occur to any exhibitor or spectator.

Premiums shall be paid strictly upon the report as rendered by competent judges. This record shall stand as official.

Articles will be judged Monday, September 18th except for baked goods which will be judged on Sunday night. The educational building will be closed throughout judging.

REMOVAL OF EXHIBITS. Neither exhibits nor their ribbons may be removed before the checkout process to ensure check. Removal will mean the forfeiture of the exhibitor’s premium check. ABSOLUTELY ALL ITEMS MUST BE CHECKED OUT BY THE EXHIBITOR OR SOMEONE THE EXHIBITOR HAS APPOINTED BETWEEN 1:00PM AND 4:00PM ON SEPTEMBER 24TH.

Age divisions are as follows. Children – ages 0 – 10 yrs. old, Juniors – ages 11 – 19 yrs., Adult ages 20 +.

Participants should be non-professionals (Professional- one who makes his/her living by an art or game.)
